Mission 10 of 67Story mission
Toni Cipriani needs driving to Momma's and takes a detour on the way to collect protection money from a Chinatown laundrette that has stopped paying. The laundrette's answer is two Triads with guns, and Toni's is to get back in the car shouting.
This is the mission that starts the Triad war, and it is entirely Toni's fault. It also introduces the man who gives the next six jobs and who cannot mention his mother without losing his thread.
A Mafia Sentinel is waiting at Joey's garage for the run. Toni gives the destination as Momma's and then changes it on the way.
Mr Wong's Laundrette does not pay and Triads come out shooting. Getting Toni back into the car and away is what the mission asks; killing Toni is what fails it.
Dealing with the Triads who come after the car pays a bonus on top of the fee, so the retreat to Saint Mark's is worth fighting rather than simply outrunning.

Left for dead by his partner during a bank job and freed from a prison transport by an explosion he had nothing to do with. Says nothing at all for the length of the story and works his way through every organisation in Liberty City regardless.
