Smack Down

Mission 40 of 67Story missionOptional

01/03

Briefing

Framing the Yardies for the Colombian killings did not work — they have allied with the Cartel anyway — so Kenji's response is to take their street trade apart one dealer at a time. Eight is the number that passes.

The dealers do not stay out. Each one leaves the street once he has sold what he is carrying, which turns a kill count into a race.

02/03

Objectives

  1. You must murder at least 8 Yardie dealers.
  2. Kill them quickly! Once they've pushed their SPANK they're off the streets.
  3. Dealer minced!!
  4. A Yardie is off the streets

Walkthrough

  1. Eight is the pass mark, not the target

The mission completes at eight and keeps paying beyond it — a thousand for each additional dealer — so there is no reason to stop at the minimum while any are still out.

  2. Speed matters more than firepower

Dealers leave the streets once they have finished selling, so the constraint is finding them rather than killing them. A car covers ground faster than working a district on foot.

  • Playable

Claude, as they appear in GTA III.

Left for dead by his partner during a bank job and freed from a prison transport by an explosion he had nothing to do with. Says nothing at all for the length of the story and works his way through every organisation in Liberty City regardless.

  • Gives the job

Kenji Kasen, as they appear in GTA III.

Asuka's brother, running the Yakuza's casino interests in Torrington and considerably more concerned with appearances than his sister is.
