GTA IIIStaunton Island

Plaster Blaster

Mission 45 of 67Story mission

01/03

Briefing

The witness Ray thought was dealt with is alive, in a full body cast, and being moved from Carson General to police headquarters to give evidence. The cast is armoured and flame retardant, which the game mentions because the player is about to try both.

It is the most absurd mission in GTA III and it knows exactly how absurd it is.

02/03

Objectives

  1. You've been spotted!
  2. He's bailed out! Smash his bodycast with a vehicle or an explosion!!
  3. That armored bodycast is flame retardant!!

Walkthrough

  1. Stop the ambulance

The transport leaves Carson General Hospital and has to be rammed to a halt. Something heavy — the Barracks OL from Phil's, if it was kept — does this in far fewer impacts than a car.

  2. Guns will not do it

Once he is out of the ambulance the cast stops bullets and shrugs off fire. The mission says so in its own objective text.

  3. Run him down or blow him up

Vehicle impact and explosives are the two things the cast does not survive, and either finishes the mission.
