The last of Marty's problems is Carlos, who is owed money and who has also been sleeping with the wife Marty has just disposed of. He is in Chinatown and expects a friendly meeting.
It is the only one of the four that does not go Marty's way. Carlos works out what the factory is for slightly faster than Marty expected, and the strand ends with the man who commissioned all four missions lying on his own floor.
The car is at the factory and Carlos is waiting in Chinatown. His death before the factory fails the mission, which makes this another passenger run to drive carefully.
Carlos shoots Marty rather than the other way round. Whether Claude then kills Carlos is left entirely to the player, and neither choice changes anything afterwards.

Left for dead by his partner during a bank job and freed from a prison transport by an explosion he had nothing to do with. Says nothing at all for the length of the story and works his way through every organisation in Liberty City regardless.
