GTA IIIShoreside Vale

Bullion Run

Mission 65 of 67Story missionOptional

01/03

Briefing

Thirty pieces of platinum bullion are scattered across a stretch of Shoreside Vale and D-Ice wants all of them. The complication is weight: a car loaded with bullion gets slower and heavier until it is barely driveable.

So the contract is really a series of trips, and knowing when to stop collecting and go and unload is the whole of it.

02/03

Objectives

  1. Get a vehicle
  2. Head to the location where the cargo is scattered; collect 30 pieces of bullion
  3. Remember when the vehicle becomes too heavy and slow, go to the garage and drop off the cargo

Walkthrough

  1. The load slows the car

Bullion accumulates in whatever Claude is driving and the handling degrades with it, which the mission states outright rather than leaving to be discovered.

  2. Unload before it becomes useless

The garage empties the car and the trip starts again. Trying to carry all thirty in one run is the way this contract is failed.
