Garment Factory
What the Garment Factory is
The Garment Factory is a property bought from Maze Bank Foreclosures. Its main purpose is The FIB Files, a set of jobs given by Jodi Marshall, a former FIB agent.
Upstairs, the legitimate textile business run by Guadaloupe Romero earns a small amount each day, which builds up in the office safe until you collect it.
What you get
- Access to The FIB Files, chosen at the factory computer or remotely through the Darnell Inc. phone app.
- A safe in the upstairs office that fills with daily income, a garage for your vehicles and a Mk II weapon workshop.
- A basement fast travel door to several stations around the map, and back again; your active Personal Vehicle is waiting outside when you return.
- A workshop for the Terrorbyte, which can be kept here instead of at the Nightclub and is the only place to buy the Bureau Tech upgrades.
Before you buy
What you need
- The factory goes on sale at Maze Bank Foreclosures after Pavel phones you about it.
- The FIB Files are opened while registered as a VIP, CEO or MC President, in any type of Free Mode lobby.
How to start
Wait for Pavel's phone call, then buy the factory from the Maze Bank Foreclosures website. There are no property upgrades to choose: the building cannot be personalised.
Register as a VIP, CEO or MC President and log in to the Darnell Inc. terminal to pick a file.
How it runs and makes money
Each FIB File is a run of freemode preparation missions followed by a finale, and each run is after a particular item. Files can be started from the factory or from the phone app.
Every event week one file is marked as the Priority File. It pays extra, but once done it cannot be played again until the priority moves on.
The first time you finish a file, a trophy appears on your desk at the factory.
Between jobs, the textile business adds a little money to the office safe each day, up to the safe's limit.

Risks and common mistakes
Risks
There is no stock at the factory to defend.
Like other passive income, the safe only fills while you are logged into a session.
Common mistakes
- Expecting property upgrades: the factory has none, and its only paid add-ons are the Bureau Tech fittings for the Terrorbyte.
- Leaving the safe full: once it reaches its limit, the daily income has nowhere to go until you empty it.
- Replaying the Priority File straight away: it is locked until the weekly priority rotates.

- The factory becomes available to buy after a phone call from Pavel.
- The Darnell Inc. login only opens for a registered VIP, CEO or MC President, though any type of Free Mode lobby will do.
Setting up

- Files are chosen and followed at the factory computer, or away from it through the Darnell Inc. phone app.
- Each file is a series of freemode preparation missions and then a finale, every run going after a specific item.
Safe income

- The Terrorbyte can be modified at the factory, the only place that sells the Bureau Tech options.

Cooldowns
