GTA IV
The series' stand-in for New York, and the setting of eight Grand Theft Auto titles. The 1997 original drew it from overhead as one of three cities; the 3D era built it as three islands, opened one bridge at a time; the HD era rebuilt it from scratch as four boroughs with the state of Alderney across the water.

GTA VI
A city the series has built more than once under one name. It was one of the 1997 original's three cities, drawn from overhead; Grand Theft Auto: Vice City laid it out for 1986 as art deco beach islands and mainland docks, and Vice City Stories went back two years earlier; Grand Theft Auto VI is set there again, in the state of Leonida, with nothing published yet about how that city is laid out.
