City
London
The only Grand Theft Auto set outside the United States, and the one city the series returned to without rebuilding: London 1969 and London 1961 are played on the same map, north and south of the Thames, with the two expansions separated by eight years rather than by geography.

North of the river is the London a visitor would recognise: the landmarks of Westminster, Soho, the West End quarter, Hyde Park in the north-west corner, and the financial district, known simply as the City. Further east, Mile End is drawn as derelict.
The south bank is the half the river cuts off. Brixton is where the work keeps taking you, and Battersea has the power station on its riverfront.
Where it sits in that title, and what else is in it.
