Arena Workshop

What the Arena Workshop is

The Arena Workshop is a vehicle workshop and office built into the Maze Bank Arena. It is the home of your Arena War career rather than a business: it has no product, no safe and no passive income.

What it earns you comes from playing Arena War events, which pay cash and RP like any other job. Owning the workshop adds Arena Points on top, and those points are what move your Arena War career forward.

What you get

  • A workshop where eligible ordinary vehicles can be converted into Arena contenders without losing their performance upgrades, with Sacha Yetarian on hand as the Arena mechanic.
  • Arena Points from every Arena War event you finish, and a career that unlocks discounts, upgrades, modifications and clothing as its tier rises.
  • A Career Wall that tracks your progress and starts matches, and an office laptop that opens the Arena War website.
  • A corner workshop that stores and customises the RC Bandito.
  • Free entry to the Spectator Box, reached from the office while an Arena event with other players is under way.

Before you buy

What you need

Nothing beyond the purchase itself.

How to start

Buy the workshop from the Arena War website. There is only one, inside the Maze Bank Arena, so the choice is about options rather than location: the office style, the workshop's look, the extra garage floors and the optional mechanics.

Bryony, who works for Alan Jerome's production company, introduces the workshop and will keep reminding you to buy one if you play Arena War without it.

How it runs and makes money

There is nothing to resupply and nothing to sell. You play Arena War events, each of which pays cash and RP, and as an owner you also collect Arena Points towards your career tier.

Between matches the workshop is where you build and modify your Arena vehicles. With both optional mechanics installed it covers Arena, Benny's, vehicle-weapon and standard modifications in one place.

The only running cost is a small daily fee for the mechanics in each garage area.

  • Arena War events

    Other

Competitive Arena War matches against other players. Each one you finish pays cash and RP, and owners also earn Arena Points towards their career.

  • Arena vehicle conversion

    Service work

Turn an eligible ordinary vehicle into an Arena contender at the workshop, keeping the performance upgrades it already has.

Playing alone

Arena War events are matches against other players, so the workshop's whole purpose depends on playing with others. Nothing about it is built for playing alone.

Upgrades

Ordered by our rule: upgrades that raise production or value first, then ones some content needs, then the rest.

  • Garage Floor B1

    Depends how you play

A basement garage floor that adds a full level of vehicle spaces; the price depends on the floor style you choose.

    Storage

    Cheapest style: $195,000

  • Garage Floor B2

    Depends how you play

A second basement garage floor, adding the same room again.

    Storage

    Cheapest style: $265,000

  • Benny's Mechanic

    Depends how you play

A Benny's mechanic on site, so the lowrider-only modifications can be fitted at the workshop.

    Convenience

    $247,500

  • Weapons Expert

    Depends how you play

A weapon workshop for Mk II weapon upgrades, which also lets the workshop customise the weapons on ordinary weaponised vehicles.

    Convenience

    $727,500

  • Personal Quarters

    Depends how you play

Living space beneath the office, which makes the workshop a safehouse you can spawn at.

    Convenience

    $220,000

Risks and common mistakes

Risks

There is no stock and no product, so there is nothing for rivals to take; the risk is spending heavily on a property that pays nothing unless you play Arena War.

Some Arena vehicles can only be kept here: every Sasquatch and Bruiser variant needs an Arena Workshop garage, and the large-vehicle bay is the only home for the Cerberus.

Common mistakes

  • Buying the workshop expecting income: it earns nothing by itself, and its value is in Arena War and its vehicles.
  • Paying for the most expensive office style or wall graphics: they change only how the workshop looks.
  • Playing Arena War before owning the workshop, which means none of those matches count towards an Arena War career.

Good to know

Before you buy

  • The workshop is bought from the Arena War website and sits inside the Maze Bank Arena; it has only one location.

What it unlocks

  • Owning a workshop is what lets you earn Arena Points and build an Arena War career.
  • As your career tier rises, Arena Points unlock discounts, upgrades, modifications and clothing.
  • Eligible ordinary vehicles can be converted into Arena contenders at the workshop and keep their performance upgrades.
  • The office laptop opens the Arena War website, and the Career Wall tracks your progress and starts matches.
  • With both optional mechanics installed, it is the only garage that combines Arena, Benny's, vehicle-weapon and standard modifications.
  • Owners enter the Spectator Box free from the office, but it only opens while an Arena event with other players is running.

Safe income

  • The workshop has no product, no safe and no passive income; its only running charge is the mechanic fee, and its money comes from playing Arena War events.

Storage

  • A corner workshop stores and customises the RC Bandito.
  • Every Sasquatch and Bruiser variant can only be stored in an Arena Workshop garage, and its large-vehicle bay is the only place for every Cerberus variant.
