Acid Lab

What the Acid Lab is

The Acid Lab is a manufacturing business built into a Brickade 6x6 truck. It is run from The Freakshop, the Fooliganz' workshop at the Mirror Park rail yard, where the truck is also stored and customised.

Like the other supply businesses it turns supplies into product over time, and you make your money by selling that product. Unlike most of them, it has no property to defend and no rival gang that comes for the stock.

What you get

  • The truck itself, which you can call in from the Interaction Menu like the other large mobile properties.
  • A delivery motorcycle carried on the back, used for many of the sales and free to ride around.
  • A manufacturing table that can speed production up once a day, and a name of your own choosing for the product.

Before you buy

What you need

  • Finish the First Dose missions for Dax, whose finale wins the Brickade 6x6, then complete the setup mission that steals the lab equipment.
  • Supply and sale missions are run while registered as a CEO, VIP or MC President.

How to start

The usual route is story-led: Dax's First Dose missions introduce the Fooliganz, give you The Freakshop and end with the theft of the Brickade 6x6. A short setup mission then steals the lab equipment and Mutt, the lab's chemist, installs it for a fee.

The truck has also been sold outright, which puts the lab in your hands at once; finishing the First Dose finale later is what opens up customisation and storage at The Freakshop.

How it runs and makes money

Fill the supply bar by buying supplies from Mutt — in person or by phone — or by running resupply missions. A single resupply mission only fills part of a batch, so buying is the quicker way to keep the lab working.

The lab turns supplies into product while you are in a session. Once a day the table in the lab can be used for a short task that speeds production up for a while without changing what the product is worth.

Sell the stock through Dax's sale missions. Many of them use the delivery bike, and the police can get involved along the way.

Fooligan Jobs — random freemode jobs Dax gives you by phone — pay on their own, and completing enough of them unlocks the Equipment Upgrade.

    Setup

Steal the equipment that turns the truck into a lab; Mutt installs it.

  • Resupply missions

    Supplies

Steal supplies for the lab instead of paying for them. Each mission fills part of a batch.

  • Acid Product sale missions

    Selling1–4 players

Deliver finished product to buyers for Dax, often on the delivery bike, while staying ahead of the police.

  • Fooligan Jobs

Random freemode jobs from Dax that pay on their own and, done enough times, unlock the Equipment Upgrade.

Playing alone

Everything the lab does can be done alone. The Fooligan Jobs and sales take up to four players in an organisation, but none of them needs a crew.

Upgrades

Ordered by our rule: upgrades that raise production or value first, then ones some content needs, then the rest.

  • Equipment Upgrade

    Buy first

More lab equipment: the product is made faster, is worth more, and each batch of supplies goes further.

Risks and common mistakes

Risks

The lab cannot be raided, so there is no security upgrade to buy and no stock to defend between sales.

Common mistakes

  • Running resupply missions instead of buying supplies: each mission only fills a fraction of a batch.
  • Forgetting the daily boost at the manufacturing table, which shortens production at no cost.
  • Putting off the Fooligan Jobs: the Equipment Upgrade, which makes the lab faster and its product worth more, cannot be bought until enough of them are done.

Good to know

Before you buy

  • The First Dose strand is the original way to the lab: its finale wins the Brickade 6x6, and a setup mission then provides the lab equipment.

Supplies

  • Supplies can be bought from Mutt, in person or by phone, or stolen in resupply missions that each fill part of a batch.

Production

  • Once a day the manufacturing table can speed production up; the boost changes how fast stock is made, not what it is worth.

Raids and defence

  • The Acid Lab cannot be raided, which is why it has no security upgrade.

Storage

  • The truck is kept at The Freakshop and can be requested through the Interaction Menu.

Selling

  • The product can be given a name of the owner's choosing, and stored stock carries the player's crew emblem.

What it unlocks

  • The Equipment Upgrade becomes available only after completing enough Fooligan Jobs for Dax.
  • If the truck was bought outright, finishing the First Dose finale is still what unlocks customisation and storage at The Freakshop.
