Mission 6 of 83Story mission
Lamar's plan for settling a score involves abducting a Ballas member, losing him, and then tracking him through a rail yard using Franklin's dog. It is the mission that introduces Chop as something you control rather than something that follows you.
The scent-tracking sequence is the only one of its kind in the campaign, and two of the three Gold Medal criteria are tied to it.
The van is scored for damage across the whole mission. Leaning on Franklin's special ability to avoid crashes serves that criterion and the seven-second ability criterion at the same time.
Homedog is earned in the tracking section — ten seconds held in Chop's perspective while following the scent.
D is let out and Lamar is taken to the rec center. Nothing in the last stretch is scored.
3 criteria, all of which have to be met in a single run. Failing one does not fail the mission — it costs the medal.
Not a Scratch
Complete with minimal damage to Lamar's van.
Homedog
Stay in Chop's perspective for 10 seconds.
Advanced Reflexes
Use Franklin's special ability for 7 seconds.
