OG Loc

Mission 15 of 105Story mission

01/03

Briefing

Big Smoke's first job for Carl is a lift home from the police station for Jeffrey Cross, who has been calling himself OG Loc since he went inside and intends to be a rapper now that he is out. His first act as a free man is to name the person who wronged him in prison.

So the mission turns into a pursuit of Freddy on a PCJ-600 through Los Santos, and it ends with OG Loc delivered to the back door of a Burger Shot, which is where his parole officer has put him to work. Everything OG Loc asks for later starts here.

Objectives

  1. Pick up OG Loc from the police station
  2. Drive to Freddy's house
  3. Go and ring the doorbell
  4. Catch and kill Freddy
  5. Take OG Loc to the employees' door at the back of the Burger Shot

Walkthrough

  1. The doorbell

Ringing the bell is what starts the chase rather than ending it — Freddy runs the moment he sees who is at the door, and he leaves on a bike.

  2. Chasing the PCJ

Freddy is faster than most things Carl can grab nearby, so the chase is decided by taking the same line he does rather than by top speed. Ramming him off the bike ends it as surely as shooting him, and is easier at speed.

  3. The back of the Burger Shot

The delivery is to the employees' entrance specifically. It is a small joke at OG Loc's expense and the mission is quite firm about the marker.

Where this mission leads

Who this mission brings together, and the ground it covers.

  • Playable

Carl Johnson, as they appear in GTA: San Andreas.

Home in Los Santos after five years in Liberty City for his mother's funeral, and stopped by the same two police officers who drove him out. Rebuilding the family's standing turns into rebuilding most of the state's.

  • Gives the job

Melvin Harris, as they appear in GTA: San Andreas.

The friendliest man on Grove Street and the one who sold it. His route from the set's elder statesman to the crack trade's chief beneficiary is the story's spine.
