Cesar and Kendl have come out to Angel Pine to find Carl, and the reunion is the first good thing to happen to him since Mulholland. Kendl has no patience for what he has been doing with himself; Cesar has an address for his cousin.
It is a scene and nothing else, and what it does is open the countryside up — Catalina's hideout at Fern Ridge and the courier work both become available on the back of it.
