Mission 42 of 90Story mission
Derrick McReary's funeral at Suffolk Church, and the Albanians Niko dealt with in his first fortnight in Liberty City pick it as the place to settle up.
It is a short mission with an unusual amount of weight on it, and it carries a failure condition nothing else in the game has: the coffin can come out of the back of the hearse.
The mission will not begin without formal clothes and decent shoes. Perseus sells them and the mission marks it; buying the outfit beforehand saves a trip across Algonquin in the middle.
The Albanians arrive by car and Packie needs help with them. A grenade or a rocket at the car as it pulls up settles most of it at once; otherwise it is a close fight among the mourners, and dropping the driver stops the rest.
The coffin can fall out of the hearse if it is driven hard, and that fails the mission. This is the one drive in the campaign where the slow route is the correct one, pursuers or not.
Who this mission brings together, and the ground it covers.
