Photo Shoot

Mission 44 of 90Story mission

01/04

Briefing

Playboy needs a man identified before he can be killed, and the identification is done with a camera phone. Niko photographs a group on the basketball courts on Exeter Avenue, sends the picture to Playboy, and is told which of them is Marlon.

The camera is the mission's mechanic and its failure condition — getting a usable picture without getting close enough to be noticed.

02/04

Objectives

  1. Go to the basketball courts on Exeter Avenue
  2. Take a picture of the gang members and send it to Playboy — don't get too close
  3. Take down Marlon
03/04

Walkthrough

  1. Clear the exits first

Two silver Patriots sit by the court entrances and there is a Sabre GT nearby. Driving them away before taking the photograph means Marlon has nothing to escape in and has to run on foot.

  2. The photograph

Use the phone's camera from across the street. Getting too close, or aiming a weapon before the picture is sent, turns the whole court hostile at once.

  3. Marlon

Playboy identifies him by his jacket, and which colour it is changes between playthroughs — so read the reply rather than assuming. His friends open fire once he is down, so this is a shot and a withdrawal rather than a stand.
