Mission 31 of 90Story mission
Elizabeta Torres deals cocaine out of a South Bohan apartment and is having a bad month. Her first job for Niko is overwatch: Patrick McReary is buying from the Spanish Lords on a rooftop, the Lords intend to rob him, and Niko is on the next roof with a sniper rifle.
It is the introduction to Packie, who becomes one of the most important people in the campaign, and it gets loud in its second half when the plan fails.
The rifle is waiting on the roof. Take it and move to the marked position overlooking the deal.
When it turns, one attacker goes straight for Packie with a knife. He carries a red marker above him and Packie carries a blue one, which is how to pick him out of the group — he is the shot to take first.
Crouching immediately after a shot and standing again cycles the rifle quicker than waiting for it, at some cost to the aim. It is worth it while several attackers are converging at once.
An attacker breaks for a van. Take him before he reaches it, or through the windscreen once he is in it — and the last stretch of the mission is on the ground with Packie, not on the roof, so drop the rifle for something close-range on the way down.
Who this mission brings together, and the ground it covers.
