Mission 10 of 26Story mission
Tony's diamonds finally have a buyer and the exchange is at the docks, and it is interrupted by a motorcycle club nobody in this episode has heard of. Luis puts sticky bombs under the bikes, and the deal that was going to clear Tony's debts leaves without the diamonds or the money.
The other side of this afternoon is Diamonds in the Rough, played as Johnny Klebitz. The two episodes were built to be read against each other and this is the cleanest place to do it: the same docks, the same diamonds, two men who each think the other ambushed them.
The Lost arrive on motorcycles and the sticky bombs are the intended answer. The scoring measures how many of the bombs thrown actually land on something, so throwing fewer and better beats blanketing the dock.
The Annihilator overhead cannot be destroyed until Tony has remarked on it. Firing at it before that point is wasted.
The wanted level that follows has its own condition — it has to be shed inside thirty-five seconds — which means heading for the nearest way out of sight rather than trying to outrun it.
Driving Tony back to Maisonette 9 ends the mission.
