The Time's Come

Mission 82 of 83Story missionOne of three endings: B

01/05

Briefing

Franklin acts on the advice he has been given about Michael instead, and the mission ends on a chimney walkway at a power station with only one of them coming down.

The second of the three endings. Like the first, it is scored on nothing but its own outcome.

02/05

Objectives

  1. Chase Michael
  2. Go to Michael's last known location
  3. Drop or save Michael
03/05

Walkthrough

  1. The pursuit

Franklin follows Michael to a power station and up the tower. Nothing about the chase is scored.

  2. The walkway

The final prompt reads as a choice and does not change the outcome: dropped, Michael falls; saved, he headbutts Franklin and falls anyway. Surpassed The Mentor cannot be lost at that prompt.

  3. What it closes

Michael is removed as a playable character for the rest of the save, and the other two endings become unreachable on that playthrough.

04/05

Gold Medal

One criterion, and it has to be met in a single run. Failing one does not fail the mission — it costs the medal.

  1. Surpassed The Mentor

    Kill Michael.

05/05

Unlocks

  • Hot Rod Blazer
  • Gusenberg Sweeper
  • Mrs. Philips

Franklin Clinton, as they appear in GTA V.

A repossession man for a Vinewood car dealership with more ability than his street has use for. Michael gives him the way out of Strawberry and, eventually, the reasons to regret taking it.

  • Gives the job

    Devin Weston

    Venture capitalist

A billionaire who collects companies, cars and people and disposes of all three the same way. He hires the crew, then treats paying them as an optional courtesy.
