Grove 4 Life

Mission 102 of 105Story mission

01/03

Briefing

Two blocks of Idlewood are still the Ballas', and Sweet's answer is the one it has been since Doberman: go and take them. There is no plan beyond that and the mission does not pretend otherwise.

It pays $10,000, which is the largest fee any Grove Street job carries, and it is the last piece of territory the story asks for before the city comes apart.

02/03

Objectives

  1. Go and take back Idlewood
  2. Shoot some Ballas to start a war
  3. Take over another Idlewood hood
03/03

Walkthrough

  1. Two zones, back to back

The mission is two consecutive gang wars rather than one, and the second starts as soon as the first is held. Recruiting a full crew beforehand is worth more here than any weapon.

  2. Holding, not advancing

Each war is three waves and the ground is held rather than pushed. Picking a corner with cover on two sides and letting the waves come to it is how a Grove Street crew survives to the second zone.

  • Playable

Carl Johnson, as they appear in GTA: San Andreas.

Home in Los Santos after five years in Liberty City for his mother's funeral, and stopped by the same two police officers who drove him out. Rebuilding the family's standing turns into rebuilding most of the state's.
