Briefing
Bernie is being blackmailed over his private life by people who want paying, and his plan is to meet them and have Niko settle it. The meeting does not last: the blackmailers' associates refuse and drive off, and the mission becomes a chase after a car considerably faster than most of what is on the street.
Dimitri Rascalov rings afterwards, which is the first sign the Russian strand has not finished with Niko.
Objectives
- Find a car
- Pick up Bernie
- Take Bernie to the rendezvous to meet with the blackmailers
- Eliminate the blackmailers
- Take Bernie back to his apartment
Walkthrough
Bring something quick
The car Niko arrives in is the car that has to keep up with a Super GT. Picking a fast one before collecting Bernie is the single decision that makes this mission easy or hard.
After the Super GT
They can be shot at through the pursuit, and the car crashes near the Castle Tunnel in Castle Gardens either way. Holding fire keeps the Super GT intact and it can be taken afterwards.
The two of them
Both survivors get out armed with pistols, so the fight at the crash is short. Police in the tunnel take an interest and are not much help to anybody.
