Mission 58 of 90Story mission
The exchange. Gracie is traded for the diamonds at the Charge Island sewage works, and it goes exactly as badly as every other transaction involving those diamonds has gone — Ray Bulgarin's men are waiting, and the trade becomes a running battle across the walkways.
This is the third GTA IV mission that intersects with the episodes: the same afternoon is played from Luis Lopez's side in The Ballad of Gay Tony, and the diamonds end the day belonging to nobody.
Full health and armour, and bring explosives — a rocket launcher or grenades earn their place in the middle of this.
Bulgarin's men take the diamonds and it starts at once. Fight from behind a car and clear the ground before moving up.
Packie calls out two men directly ahead near the top — they have to be taken without hitting him. More come in behind once Niko is up, and the pipes are the cover.
Packie crosses the road and Niko goes on. The next wave arrives by car, three of them, which is what the explosives were for.
The man carrying the diamonds throws them onto a passing truck below rather than losing them to anybody, and two enemies are left after that. Packie then has to be driven back to Meadows Park, and he is the failure condition throughout.
Who this mission brings together, and the ground it covers.
