Briefing
Derrick's Korean contact is moving down the river by boat and needs an escort, which turns into the most exposed stretch of this part of the campaign: a long water chase with attackers coming alongside and, eventually, a helicopter overhead.
The rocket launcher arrives here, and the mission's one real trap is where the helicopter is standing when it is destroyed.
Objectives
- Go to Kim's boat
- Follow Kim
- Stay close to Kim's boat — protect him from the attackers

Walkthrough
Staying close
The escort distance is real: drifting too far behind Kim ends the mission. Stay with him rather than ranging ahead.
The attacking boats
A lot of them arrive at once and Kim is the thing being shot at. An SMG with plenty of ammunition is what this stage wants.
Where the helicopter falls
Do not destroy the helicopter while it is over Kim's boat. The wreck comes down on him, kills him and fails the mission. Wait until it has moved off his line before firing.
