GTA IV: The Ballad of Gay Tony

For the Man Who Has Everything

Mission 22 of 26Story mission

01/04

Briefing

Yusuf's last request is a subway carriage. Not a ride on one — the carriage itself, taken off a moving train on the Algonquin Bridge and brought to him, because he has decided he would like one.

It pays twenty-five thousand dollars, a diamond-encrusted pistol, a gold SMG and the APC, which is the episode's way of admitting that Yusuf's strand was never about the money either.

02/04

Objectives

  1. Get to the Algonquin Bridge
  2. Get in position above the tracks
  3. Wait for the train and jump onboard
  4. Fight your way along the train and disconnect the front carriage
03/04

Walkthrough

  1. Drop onto a moving train

The position is above the tracks on the bridge and the boarding is a timed jump as the train passes underneath.

  2. Forward, carriage by carriage

The fight runs along the train towards the front, and the coupling on the leading carriage is the objective at the end of it.

  3. Eight aircraft from the roof

Police helicopters and Annihilators come in while Luis is on the train, and the scoring asks for eight of them to be destroyed from the carriage — which is the condition that makes the four-minute-twenty clock hard.

  4. Duck at Dillon Street

One condition is a single moment rather than a tally: an Annihilator passes low over Dillon Street and Luis has to go under it rather than into it.
